People Who Messed Up Big-Time And Felt The Consequences
If you aren't paying attention, it's easy to miss the mistakes in these photos. I mean, it's easy to miss the mistakes in SOME of these photos. In some of these posts, the mistakes are painfully obvious.
Keep reading to see some people who messed up big-time and lived to tell the tale. Maybe we can learn a thing or two about what not to do from these careless clods. Like maybe don't hide your key under a see-through rubber mat...
Let The Laptop Get Wet
This girl was so concerned about protecting her hair from the rain that she let her laptop get totally soaked. Hair dries. Computers do not.
Let this be a lesson to us all.
That's Not A Phone Holder
Whoever made this mistake was clearly born in the 2000s. Every self-respecting '80s and '90s kid knows that that's where cassette tapes go.
I bet that phone had all kinds of scratches on it.
One Year Preferred
This job posting for a COVID tester is requesting applicants to have one year of experience with the procedure.
This was posted before March of 2021. Sorry guys, that's just not possible.
Those Are Fake Pears
These fake pears in a waiting room have little teeth marks all over them.
That means that some kid thought they were real pears, took a bite of one, and then took a bite out of all the rest of them just to make sure.
A Makeshift Door
This car door broke, so the car's owner tried to come up with an alternative solution that would keep his car and his valuables safe.
I guess this wood and padlock system is doing the trick.
What Speed Limit?
There are so many weird things going on in this photo. First of all, this town is called Humansville? Seriously?
That just doesn't seem real. Also, what's going on with the speed limit signs?
Spot The Opposing Team
If you can only see the soccer players wearing red jerseys, you're missing half the picture.
They are playing against a team in white jerseys, only it's impossible to see them because of all the snow.
What About Monday?
It looks like this roadside cafe is totally fine with God not blessing the United States on Mondays as long as he blesses us for the rest of the week.
I guess even God gets a day off.
What Are Clipboards For?
This person had a whole clipboard at their disposal, and they still decided to tape this note to the board rather than clipping it on.
What was the point of having a clipboard then?
That's Not What They Meant
This blank space is left blank so that whoever installed the fire alarm can mark the date on which it was installed.
That way people know when it needs to be replaced.
The Worst Crunch Sound
This person forgot that they had a bike on the roof of their car, and then they tried to drive into their garage.
Well, it looks like that didn't go well.
It's Not Going To Fit
There is no way that this giant box is going to fit in the trunk of that small car.
She can stand there all she wants, but it's just not going to happen.
The Worst Place To Smoke
Of all the places in the world to smoke, this woman had to pick right next to the propane exchange.
This looks like an explosion waiting to happen. Let's just hope those propane tanks are empty.
Waiting In Line
This woman thought that the mannequins at this store were waiting in line, so she stood in line behind them.
It was an honest mistake. It took her a while to realize why the line wasn't moving.
Do It For The 'Gram
This woman picked up her plate to show her food to the person holding the camera, and she ended up spilling sauce all over the table.
That's why food is better eaten, not photographed.
The Christmas Squid
Reddit user Inqubate was initially confused as to why his mom bought squid wrapping paper for Christmas.
Then he noticed that the tube of wrapping paper was upside down. Those are reindeer.
Call In For Back Up
This guy locked his keys in his car, so he called AAA to come help him.
Then the AAA guy locked his keys in his car, so he had to call another AAA guy to help him out.
Locked In
The delivery person who delivered this parcel unintentionally locked the recipient into his own apartment.
There's no way that the door handle can be pushed down now. It's a good thing this guy had neighbors who could help him out.
A Broken Glass
I'm not sure what's going on with this wine glass. Either it's bent or it's broken or it's both.
The important thing is that it doesn't look all that sturdy.
The Importance Of School
Obviously, this was a joke made on purpose, but if you weren't in on the joke, you might think that this trucker doesn't know that "importanter" isn't a real word.
Why isn't it a real word, though? I think I'm going to start using it.
He's Always Watching
Someone put up two security cameras on the side of their building, and then someone else came along and pasted a huge portrait of Mark Zuckerberg around them.
I guess it's creative...
That Doesn't Go In The Oven
This person decided to bake a frozen pizza on a plastic cutting board. It was a rookie mistake.
Seasoned pizza makers know that you always have to use a metal sheet tray.
It's Called Science
After this photo was posted, someone commented underneath it, "How did they get all that ice in through the little hole at the top of the bottle?"
That person doesn't know how ice works.
Hide And Seek
This kid thinks he's really good at hide and seek because his parents always take their time trying to find him.
He doesn't know that his feet are clearly visible.
Coffee And Tea
This person accidentally put coffee in the tea container and tea in the coffee container.
Instead of switching the contents of the container, they opted for some quick Sharpie relabeling.
That Key Is Not So Hidden
If you're going to hide your key under your mat (which we would advise against, by the way), at least pick a mat that doesn't have a bunch of holes in it.
I hope this is a decoy key that won't open the door...
Locked Up Forever
This person looped the keys to this padlock through the padlock and then pressed the whole thing shut.
I guess this padlock can never be opened now. What a waste.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers
This person thought that he was buying a ticket to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but he ended up at a bagpipe concert headlined by a band called the Red Hot Chili Pipers.
It's a good pun, but it's probably not the kind of music they wanted.
That's Not How Wheels Work
This guy thought that he could secure his ATV to his truck using the "strap to the wheel" method.
It turns out that this isn't a very effective (or safe) tactic.
I Am Not A Robot
That's not exactly how captchas work.
Although, if we do one day develop android robots that can pass for humans in car dealerships, we're going to need a better test.
