Under the Foreign Restaurants Act of 1977, most fast food chains are banned in Bermuda. However, there is a single KFC restaurant that managed to sneak past the rules.

The franchisee argued that since the restaurant opened there in 1970, the rule shouldn’t apply to them. Bermuda conceded, so now there is a single KFC on the island.
