When Girls Ask Their Boyfriends To Take Pictures Of Them Vs. The Other Way Around
It seems like in this age of social media, every girl is a master photographer. They know how to capture the perfect shot every single time. Boys, on the other hand? They could use some photography lessons.
A Smug Mug
This boyfriend looks pretty smug for a guy who just took a photo of his girlfriend with her mouth agape. She's really cute, but this photo just doesn't do the best job of showing that off.
A Nice Meal
This lovely couple was sitting across from each other at a nice restaurant. The guy looks strong and attractive. The girl looks...suspicious. She should be. This picture is definitely something to be suspicious about.
The Better To See You With
This girl clearly has an eye for photography. Her boyfriend is trying to emphasize her power of sight in this photo. He took the challenge very literally. Yes, that is a magnifying glass.
Girl Vs. Boy
Boy: in focus, nice pose, excellent backlighting, gorgeous view of the city in the background. Girl: blurry, awkward angle, nothing is in focus, horrible lighting. Yup, that makes perfect sense.
That Perfect Sun Flare
Look at this gorgeous photo this girlfriend took of her man. He looks like he's having a great time on vacation. She looks like she glitched out mid-conversation. Not a good look.
A Battle Of Focus
These two guys might be on a date, or they might be just friends. Either way, one of them is way better at taking photos than the other. We see you, guy on the right. I mean, we don't because you're blurry, but we appreciate your photography skills.
Pizza Vs. Sushi
This girlfriend knew better than to take a picture of her boyfriend with his mouth full. It's just not anything that anybody wants to see. Her boyfriend wasn't as tactful.
One Of These Two Is A Photography Expert
Stunning lighting, perfect poses, gorgeous backgrounds, and flattering angles all come together in perfect harmony in those top photos. The girl on the bottom wasn't as lucky. At least she's a good photographer, though.
Getting Silly
This lovely couple went out to eat some comfort food. This girl looks like she got a little too comfortable. Her boyfriend snapped a picture of her as she was about to lie down in the booth.
The Case For Good Lighting
This is why knowing your shutter speed is so important. This girl knows how to adjust the lighting in an iPhone photo. Her boyfriend clearly didn't get the memo. Too bad for her.
This Is Not Okay
This girl got all dressed up for date night. She's wearing a gorgeous yellow top, a full face of makeup, and she even got her nails done. All of her hard work is out of focus in this picture, though.
All About Angles
This boy is looking fine in his gold vest and gold bow tie. We're not sure what his girlfriend is wearing because her clothes didn't make it into the shot.
Where Did Her Body Go?
This guy gets to have his whole body in frame. His girlfriend wasn't so lucky. She probably spent a long time picking out her outfit that day. Maybe her boyfriend wasn't into her clothes that day.
Don't Interrupt Her Dinner
This girlfriend knows that the best time to take a picture of your significant other is in the car on the way to the restaurant, not in the restaurant while they're eating.
Time To Get Sassy
The photo on the left is artsy, it's on an interesting angle, and it has some nice lighting going on. The picture on the right is too sassy for this world.
Mind Blown
Look at how this guy's face is half in the light and half in shadow. That takes some serious photography skills. What does his girl get? This monstrosity of a photo.
But You Didn't Have To Cut Me Off...
This boy got two lovely photos of himself sitting in fields of gold. His girl got a photo of two-thirds of her face next to a mountain. I don't think that's fair.
She Wasn't Ready
This guy got a lovely photo of himself with a gorgeous backdrop. This photo would make a great LinkedIn profile picture. What did she get? She can't post that picture anywhere.
Not Fair
This amazing girlfriend followed her boyfriend around all day taking fantastic photos of him. He took one shot of her in the gym and it was blurry. It's not fair.
Mid-Bite
This girl waited until her boyfriend had finished chewing his food. That's the best time to take a picture of somebody. Not while they're in the middle of taking a bite out of a California roll.
She Wasn't Ready
This boy was just sitting there waiting for his girl to take a photo of him. His girl wasn't doing the same. She was probably in the middle of something very important.
It's Not The Same
This girlfriend managed to get a strip of rainbow light in her photo of her beloved. Her boyfriend not only didn't get a rainbow, he also took a very blurry picture.
A Photo With Her Mouth Full
Have the boyfriends learned nothing from each other's mistakes? Never take a photo of your girl while she's eating! That's just not cool. His girlfriend had a better photo idea.
Always Eating
Boys, come on, you're not being original anymore. Wait until your girl is finished eating before you take a photo of her. Can you not wait two minutes? Have patience!
Another Eating Picture
The caption on the photo of the girl reads, "when she's mad I get her food." She probably isn't mad that he got her food. She's probably mad that he took a photo of her eating said food.
Picking Her Teeth
This guy is looking thoughtfully into the distance. He's showing off his biceps. His mouth isn't full of food. His girl is covering her mouth and picking her teeth. That's not cool.
Caught Her Sleeping
She caught him kicking butt at video games. He caught her sleeping on the job. Do you think this man has ever taken a flattering photo of his beautiful girlfriend?
A Post-Shower Photo
This boy looks very seductive in this photo of him leaning on a windowsill. This girl looks like whatever the opposite of seductive is with a towel on her head post-shower.
She's Got A Good Eye
The photo on the left is absolutely stunning. The lighting in it is perfect, the colors are perfectly saturated, and the subject is situated perfectly in the frame. The same cannot be said of the photo on the right...
Go Ahead, Take A Bite
The boy in the photo on the right looks like a model. His girlfriend knows how to take great iPhone photos. He might look good, but he doesn't know his way around a lens.
However, Men Don't Just Butcher Photos In Comparison To Their Girlfriends...
Even when posting the exact same photo onto Instagram, this guy managed to make his caption infinitely less adorable and wholesome than his girlfriend's. There's no winning for the girls.
Very Different Energy Here
She definitely spent hours getting ready doing her hair and makeup before this formal event while he probably just got off the couch 20 minutes before leaving, took a shower, and then did the bare minimum with his hair and she still called him a great date, but he couldn't return the compliment.
Great Reference, Though
Listen: this guy may not have come even remotely close to matching her wholesome caption toward him, but at least he used a fun quote from SpongeBob as his caption.
I Mean, They Both Commented On The Color
At least there was some sense of cohesion between these two: both were clearly very cognizant of the leafy background and its coloring. However, her take on it was much more sentimental.
He Had To Go There, Huh?
I'm not disappointed in this guy for making a bedroom joke so much as I'm disappointed that it was such low-hanging fruit—the joke was almost too obvious. Try harder next time.
I Forgot About The Wizard Kelly
I think I actually like his caption better! Does anyone else have fond memories of The Proud Family and the fact that the Wizard Kelly, the show's rich former basketball star, never had his head shown on screen because he was too tall?
0/10 Sir
I like that even she went out of her way to gently roast her boyfriend for struggling to eat pizza without choking and he still somehow decided to roast her harder.
He Held His Own
In this photo, he held her up, and frankly, he held up pretty well with the caption too. I rate this man 7/10 stars for being a good boyfriend on Instagram.
In General, Women Show The Most Wholesome Parts Of Their Relationships Online
When it comes to social media, most women jump at the opportunity to show how much they adore their significant others or anyone they care about, while men often will post everything as a joke: photos with the boys and a girlfriend are treated pretty much the same.
...However, They Can Be Cute
Even if they post joking captions online, girlfriends know that their man is a total softie in real life who wants to be cuddled and adored just like she does.
