Ever see something that caused you to do a double-take? What about a triple-take? The things in these photos aren't quite as they appear. At times, you'll feel like your mind is playing tricks on you. The world really is full of some strange things.
A Two-Headed Cat
We can't tell where one cat stops and the other one starts. They look like some kind of mythical creature all squished together like this.
They're pretty darn cute, though.
A Little Boy With A Big Hand
Why does it look like this boy has one normal-sized hand and one huge hand?
It's because that huge hand is actually his dad's hand. The camera is playing tricks on you.
A Man With A Baby Hand
Here's another hand illusion. In this photo, it looks like this man is feeding his baby with a tiny baby hand attached to a pretty buff bicep.
The baby looks like he has a man's hand.
His Head Is Too Small
Does this dog's head seem too small for his body to you?
That's because that's not his head at all. This dog is sniffing a little puppy. It's all a matter of perspective.
Not A Swimming Pool
This is not a photo of a bunch of ladies in a swimming pool sitting on pool noodles. This is some kind of seafood stew.
Those are mussels, not ladies. Although they could be lady mussels.
One Big Cookie

This isn't actually a photo of a tiny iPhone sitting on a glass table.
The iPhone is on the floor by this person's feet. It only looks like it's on the table.
Seeing Double
I don't know about you, but I've never seen a two-headed dog before.
This is actually a photo of two separate dogs that just like to stand really close together.
Going For A Ride
It looks like the man on the bench is going for a ride on this woman's back, but it's actually the pattern on her shirt that's causing the illusion. Weird.
I wonder if they knew the picture would look like that when they took it...
Driving Around
The ad on the boards at this soccer game is making it look like the guy sitting behind the boards is driving a little blue car.
It's a little bit distracting when people are trying to pay attention to the game.
A Long Arm
It looks like the man standing behind these women has a really long arm.
Really, his arm is just in an awkward position and that's not his hand on the woman's shoulder.
Blurry Meet
This package of meat looks like it's blurry, but that's only because it's sliced super thin and all of the individual pieces are kind of translucent.
This is messing with my head.
Not His Nose
It looks like the driver of this car has a really long, witchy nose, but if you look closely, you'll realize that his "nose" is actually a hat.
There is a person beside him in the passenger seat of the car.
Big Smiles
The person on the right really doesn't get the joke. Sorry, but there aren't any smiles on that Doritos package. It was a nice try, though.
The other girls all look pretty silly with their chip smiles.
An Old Man In A Hat
This is a tricky one. This grandpa isn't actually wearing a blue baby hat. He's holding his grandson who is.
Their faces are facing the same way and they kind of fused together.
An Invisible Hockey Player
It looks like this hockey player is fighting an invisible man.
Really, he just knocked this guy's helmet off and this picture was taken at the perfect moment. It looks pretty ghostly, though.
Not A Dog
It looks like there's a dog sitting in this classroom, but if you look more closely, you'll realize that it's just the side profile of a kid wearing a pair of headphones.
I will never forgive this picture for making me doubt every other dog I see.
Hanging On
This cyclist isn't actually hanging off of a giant concrete cliff. He's lying on the road with his hand in a patch of grass.
The camera angle just makes it look like he's vertical.
Why The Long Face?
This girl looks like some kind of hybrid creature. She kind of is one.
She's a mix between herself and the brown dog that's sitting in front of her with his head tilted back.
The Strangest Hug
It looks like this girl's head is attached to her body at a really weird angle.

Is this a photo of a giant seagull or a tiny man? Neither. The seagull just looks huge because he's closer to the camera.

The way these water bottles are stacked on top of each other makes them look like super long water bottles.
While it would be nice to have more water room, water bottles this long would be tough to carry around.

That's One Strong Cat
That cat looks like it has the weight of the world on its shoulders. Or at least the weight of its owner.
If that person falls while doing this handstand, the cat could be losing one of its nine lives.
A Wild Fried Egg
It would be strange to be hiking through the forest one day and come across what appears to be a perfectly seasoned fried egg.
What you're looking at in reality is a mushroom that just resembles a fried egg.
The View From Down Below
It just goes to show you that life really is all about perspective.
From standing on the ground, these two structures look to be nearly the same height. One is a 10-foot-tall lamp post, the other is a 600-foot-tall tower.
