People Who Did Their Best, But Not Really
Having the motivation to do a good job can be difficult.
Yes, we should all take pride in the work we do, but there are some days where you just aren't feeling it. On those days, we can only hope that we aren't asked to do something that is going to take a lot of effort or showcase the fact that we have a serious case of the "screw-its" that day.
Very Informative
I always imagine that when a mistake like this is made, there are people behind the scenes scrambling to fix it, shouting things at each other. That, or no one really notices.
What On Earth Is This?
For those of you who are wondering, like I was, this is supposed to be an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. What we're looking at here is a hard-boiled egg with cream cheese on a bun.
This Reeks Of Man
Look at this and tell me this isn't something your husband would do. Technically, he did replace the paper towel, but would it have killed him to take the wrapping off?
How Is Anyone Supposed To Use This?
This could go one of two ways. Either it will be impossible to use and no one will get anything, or it will be the greatest mistake ever because all those chips will just come flying out.
Someone Missed The Point
The point of a clipboard is to be able to put a piece of paper under the clip without needing to use tape. At least the notice was posted, so there is that.
Isn't It, Though?
The sentiment is nice and one that we should all pause to consider. However, the irony of it being set in stone is not lost on anyone who sees this and has half a brain.
Yummy
I'm not an expert, but I have a feeling that the expiration date stamp is supposed to go on the outside wrapper, not on the actual food itself. I could be wrong, though...
Cute Top, Girl
This employee was asked to put a shirt on the mannequin. Technically, they did what they were asked, but also did they really? They didn't get the mannequin's arms through it.
How Very Sneaky
I'm not even sure how this happened, but this Walmart randomly ended up with a bunch of receipt tape from Target. Using it is better than letting it go to waste, I guess.
Really? How?!
You would have thought that the person painting this would have paused for a moment and really considered what they were doing. How hard would it have been to write "white line"?
The Epitome Of "Not My Job"
This is a classic example of "if you want something done right, do it yourself." Imagine asking someone to refill the printer and they don't even bother to take the wrapping off the paper...
The Opposite Of Helpful
Let's hope that they didn't have to pay for this sign, or maybe they were able to get it at a discount because it's so ridiculous. Either way, it's a big yikes.
The Line Got Painted
We all know exactly what this guy was saying the whole time he was working: "Well, I'm a painter, not a weeder." Can we blame him, though? Who likes to pull weeds?
Wow, Great. Thanks.
It's almost more effort to do something this dumb than it would have been to just make sure that the toilet paper was on the holder properly. Honestly, what goes through people's minds sometimes?
Looks Like They Got A New Menu
To be fair, it might be one of those things where, when you're putting it in, it looks like it's the right way, but then you close the window and it's not.
That's A Lot Of Smoke Detectors
So, in this building, they had to put in new fire alarms. And, as you can see, they were not explicitly told that that also meant taking the old ones down.
Good Thing They Can Read
I don't know about you, but the yellow sticker telling you not to crush the box seemed pretty clear to me. Who knows, maybe needing to read isn't a required skill for delivering packages.
Not Sure What Got Lost In Translation
You order cheese fries and you decide that you want to be in control, so you order the cheese on the side so you can dip them yourself. Instead, you get a slice of sort of melted cheese.
Why On Earth?
There is probably a reason this box of crayons is 99 cents. There is no good reason that I can think of that would require a 64-pack of orange crayons.
Which One Is The Truth?
The person putting up both these signs probably thought they don't get paid enough to deal with the fallout of the confusion here, and let's be serious, they probably don't.
More Like Captain Italy
Kids aren't dumb, you know. No kid is going to look at this and not see past the ruse. They'll know you're trying to pull a fast one of them.
Guess That Car Lives There Now
I'm sure there was ample warning in that parking lot that they were going to be repaving in the near future, so this is all on the guy who drives that car.
Great Advertising
Not sure what they're trying to accomplish here with this. It might just be a prank being pulled by someone, but then why bother putting it upside-down? There are some missing pieces here.
It Was A Good Try
All the right words are there, just not in the order that we needed them to be. The biggest mistake? The fact that there is no website for them to visit.
Very Literal
Another case of someone not being right, but not really being wrong, either. We can see that the smoke alarm was installed on the ceiling. I'm thinking we were looking for the date.
Why Are They Like This?
Man, there is nothing worse than being home all day and then coming outside to see that the delivery man tried to drop off your package but you didn't hear them. Now I think they do it on purpose.
Well, That's Kind Of Your Job
We all get what they're trying to say here, but they could have worded it in a way that made this guy look less incompetent. But hey, that's just me.
A Very Cool Sign
This could have been a lot worse. They could have ended up with something embarrassing on the sign instead of just a folder that's promising a cool sign to come.
Looking For Specifics Here
No part of that was helpful in any way. This person is just going to have to wing it and trust their nose and their eyes to guess which Monday their lettuce goes bad.
Haha, Very Clever
Anytime I see something like this in a store, I know in my heart that it wasn't an accident. Someone was just having a day and decided they were going to make the best of it.
Beggars Can't Be Choosers
It seems to me like this guy probably forgot he had to bring something to the BBQ and so he stopped off at the corner store and bout the most plausible thing he could find.
At Least There Was A Gift Involved
To be fair, she probably didn't mean for it to be thrown so dramatically out of the car, but she could have at least stopped. Let's hope that it wasn't breakable.
Girls Are Crazy Sometimes
What was the point of this message? To announce in the most passive-aggressive way that she doesn't feel threatened anymore because her boyfriend claims he doesn't find this girl attractive?
These Are Serious Gains
Know what is crazy? The fact that someone believes that the world is going to think that in three weeks, someone actually doubled in muscle mass and height. Because that is totally a thing.
Hey, Accidents Happen
She's going to have to call him eventually, but until then, how quickly do you think someone can spend $1800 of someone else's money? Guess there is only one way to find out.
It's A Valid Question
If this is some weird attempt to hit on someone then it isn't working...unless, of course, they're someone who loves their true crime. In that case, they might as well exchange vows.
It's Nice To Know Yourself
We all suffer from moments of low self-esteem. It's what makes us human. But going out of your way to post it on the internet for all the world to see? Next level.
Poor Little Pony
What kind of owner lets their poor little horse drop their apple like that? Don't worry, she eventually picked it up and give it back to her, so it's a win in the end.
Congrats On Being A Fan
No one really expects a celebrity to respond to their comments, but when they do, they could at least try a bit harder to make it look like they actually care.
Pickles Are An Experience
People love pickles, or they hate them, but there is one thing that we can all agree on, they are an experience. But, they couldn't have come with a more clever catchphrase?
