The Funniest Drawings And Messages Left Inside Pizza Boxes
Recently, many pizza chains have added a "special requests" option when customers order pizza online. While some people might take this option seriously and use it to give specific directions to the delivery worker, others decide to have fun with it. People began asking for workers to draw things on the inside of the box and the trend caught on. It's a harmless practice, with both workers and customers having fun with it. These are some of the funniest notes and pictures left on the inside of pizza boxes.
Shots Fired
It appears this customer asked for somebody to write a joke on their box, and in return, they got not one but two. There's nothing wrong with a good pun, but the real joke is the insult thrown at Pizza Hut.
That's probably better than any joke this pizza employee could have googled. We wonder if this is from an independent pizza joint because it's clear that they have some serious beef with the mega-corporations.
Sad, But True
When a customer asked someone to draw a dinosaur inside their pizza box, the person at the pizza place decided to make a dark joke. Technically, their request was answered... just not how they were expecting.
They were probably so excited to open their pizza and see which dinosaur they got only to be confronted with this. We're sure the person that had this pizza delivered to them never looked at a gas station the same way again.
Probably Not The Camel They Were Asking For
When a customer requested that the pizza employee draw a camel on their box they received this. We're going to assume that they wanted a regular camel, not Joe Camel, the mascot for Camel Cigarettes.
Hopefully, the person who ordered this is old enough to get the joke and it wasn't a group of little kids who were then left staring at the image of a camel smoking a cigarette. Not everyone's parents would be happy seeing their kids eating pizza with a picture like that on the box.
Nailed It
When somebody asked for a picture of a classy cat in their box, the pizza employee decided to get creative. While a classy cat is already a rather strange request, they managed to turn it into something awesome.
They did a play on the Dos Equis beer advertising except switched out The Most Interesting Man In the World with a classy cat. Also, we hope this employee got a raise for promoting the company they work at.
Be Careful What You Wish For
Somebody thought that they were being clever and requested "nudes," if you know what that means. Yet, their request backfired on them. Instead of getting the nude photographs they had requested, they quite literally received a nude pizza.
It's just a circular piece of cooked dough with nothing on it. However, we're going to assume that they also got the pizza they had ordered but the employees couldn't resist sending them this as a joke.
Maybe Next Time
This person didn't even ask for anything fancy to be drawn on their box. Apparently, all they request was "something funny." The person completing the order must not have been in a very joking mood that day because this was their response.
Not only did they flat out say no, but they added grumpy cat which shows how annoyed they really were when boxing up this pizza. We hope that whoever's pizza this is found some humor in it.
Taking Things Literally
When someone asked for a "cute heart on the pizza box," we're assuming they meant a cartoon heart. What they got was a fully detailed anatomical heart, which definitely isn't very cute to look at.
Either way, we have to commend whoever drew this not only for their artistry but for their attention to detail. We wonder if they copied a picture of it or if they are a physiology major and already know it by "heart."
Something Cool
This person requested that somebody draws "something cool" on the inside of the box. The artist behind this masterpiece figured they'd take the request literally and just drew a picture of an ice cube.
This is pretty cool in our book; however, want to know what would be even cooler? A detailed picture of the rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube staring at you as soon as you open the box. But then again, drawing a regular ice cube is probably easier.
That Turned Dark Quickly
All some person wanted was to read a quick joke before eating their pizza. Maybe they had a bad day and needed to be cheered up. Yet, what they received was the exact opposite of what they were looking for.
Instead, they got what appears to be a cry for help from one of the Pizza Hut employees. Pizza Hut employee, if you're reading this, we hope you got a better job and found joy once again.
Getting Political
It looks like Pizza Hut got a little political with this pizza box artwork. We have to give the artist credit for their drawing skills, but we sure hope this wasn't delivered to some people who might be offended by it!
If this ended up in the hands of the wrong people, whoever drew this might find themselves looking for a new job. Not everybody might think this is as funny as some others might!
I Command You To Eat Me!
We're curious if the customer who requested a drawing of a giraffe was satisfied with this. Yes, it is a picture of a giraffe, however, it's slightly off-putting. We can't believe that anyone would want to eat a pizza with this looking at them the entire time.
The text doesn't help either. "Eat me, Jon" is an interesting choice of words, but then again, we can't imagine anything this giraffe is saying would make it okay.
Joke's On You
This person requested that someone wrote a joke on the inside of their box. While they were probably expecting some cheesy pun or knock-knock joke, what they got was a direct insult.
Whoever packaged the pizza taped a mirror to the inside so that whoever opened the box would be staring at themselves, and would, therefore, be the joke. While this is extremely clever, it begs the question if this pizza place has a surplus of mirrors just for this reason.
Poor Guy
We're not sure why, but recently, a trend has caught on making fun of the Tyrannosaurus Rex's inability to use its hands. This joke can be seen in movies, on t-shirts, bumper stickers, and now, the inside of this pizza box.
We don't know if the customer asked for a joke or wanted a picture of a T-Rex specifically but it works either way. Everyone likes to make fun of T-Rex now, but that wouldn't be the case if they were still around.
Ruthless
One customer put a lot of faith in the people making and packaging his pizza. He asked for them to write "something to cheer my girlfriend up," a bold move. The people back at the pizza restaurant saw this as the perfect opportunity to play an over-the-top practical joke.
You know the boyfriend was sitting there eagerly waiting for his girlfriend to open up the box and find the note inside. This might be hard to explain if she says yes before you even had a chance to explain.
Too Cool For School
There really is nothing like a good joke. While most jokes inside of pizza boxes are rather lackluster, this one actually got us. The only thing that could have made this better is if the smiley face had a beard and was drinking a cup of coffee.
We're sure that whoever received this box tells this same joke to someone every time they're eating pizza. Hopefully, they give credit to the clever pizza worker who came up with it.
This Has Some Truth In It
If you ask someone at the pizza shop to draw something on your box, you might be pleasantly surprised or utterly disappointed with the result. This worker didn't even try to create a drawing. Instead, they wrote a statement that can either be seen as a joke or a fact.
For some reason, being a barista (especially at Starbucks) is particularly appealing to artists. Why this is the case, we're not sure. But it probably has something to do with being trendy.
Share The Love
When a customer asked for an employee to write "I love you" on their box, things didn't go as planned. Whoever made the request was probably either giving the pizza to a significant other or just wanted to pretend that someone loved them.
Whatever their intentions were don't matter because they didn't get the "I love you" that they were looking for. You can bet that whoever created this masterpiece was chuckling to themselves watching it go out the door.
Called Out
This person requested that they included a Star Trek related drawing, and emphasized that they didn't mind if it was offensive. Well, their request was answered, and now they have a picture of Spock basically telling them that they're a bunch of fatties.
We hope that this pizza was for whoever made the request and they didn't give it to someone else. That might come off as a bit rude. We wonder how offensive the employees are allowed to get.
We Feel Your Pain
Surely, a lot of pizza shop employees use the pizza box trend as an outlet to tell the world how much they hate their job. They better be careful that their boss doesn't see it though! What's particularly funny about this message is that this person most likely doesn't even make a salary.
Pizza shop employees usually are paid by the hour and only people high up in the company earn salaries. Don't tell this employee that though!
The Designated Artists
It would only make sense that the person with the most artistic ability would be in charge of completing the customer's requests. If a customer gets something really good, they're more likely to order from that place again.
Unfortunately, the designated artist isn't always in, so those with less craftsmanship are forced to try their best. Unsurprisingly, when the artist isn't there, the quality of work goes down. At least they left a note explaining the situation.
