There is nothing as surprising yet satisfying as a little coincidence. In a world where we are constantly planning things down to a schedule and trying to maintain as much control over our lives as possible, it's so much fun to come across a happy accident.

The Shadow Knows The Truth
Is there anything more majestic and perfect than a dog peacefully lying in the sun? A dog without a care in the world, that's just living in the moment and enjoying everything the world has to offer?
Apparently so. Because someone was able to find a dog lying in the sun with the word "dog" cast on him in the shadows. That's just about the greatest "dog in the sun" photo we've ever seen.
Proof The Author Really Knows What They're Talking About
OK, so people who are sleeping on public transit is generally a fun image to capture when you see it happen, but the fact that this woman was reading a how-to book about... falling asleep... really takes the cake.
We assume that since the photo went viral, someone has passed it along to the book's author. He or she probably got a big kick out of seeing this hilarious scene!
Together, They Make A Full Head Of Hair!
Have you ever met someone and just felt like they completed you? Well, these two men found each other and their complementary hair cuts were probably enough to start a beautiful friendship.
We just wish we could have been a fly on the wall and heard their first conversation. Was it even about their hair or did it take them a while to notice what it was that drew them to the other person?
Didn't Know Date Night Had A Color Code
It's adorable enough to see couples in public who accidentally happen to match each other, but it's even cuter when two couples who don't know each other happen to match at the same restaurant.
Salmon pink and teal aren't necessarily colors you'd imagine going well together, but on these sweet-looking couples, the hues work just perfectly! It's especially fun that the colors were reversed for each couple... it's not just the ladies wearing pink.
Holy Cow, That's Cool!
When looking through their photos, this person realized that they unknowingly took two nearly identical pictures of the same bull while visiting the same ranch in Texas five years apart.
This bull has such unique markings that it makes perfect sense why you'd want to take his picture. But the fact that these were taken by the same person years apart is remarkable! We'd like to see a collage of all the photos that people have ever taken of this handsome dude.
The Neck Has To Be That Size On Purpose
Have you ever sat and wondered to yourself, "What would the Queen of England look like if she was a marathon runner and didn't have a torso and arms?" If this is something you've pondered, look no further than this currency.
Really, was this planned? We're leaning toward "no," but the way these coins match up so perfectly is really making it hard to believe that this was all just a "coin"cidence...
This Is His First Time Meeting This Cat
This guy, upon hearing his friend had just got a new cat, went over to meet the little fur ball only to realize he was already wearing his twin on his shirt. Seriously, we need to know what the friends discussed during the phone call or text convo... if it didn't involve a description of the new pet, then this is over-the-top funny!
Maybe both friends are just fan of orange cats. That could be the explanation.
A Q-Tip For President Lincoln
Statues, like the enormous one of President Lincoln in Washington, D.C., require regular cleaning to continue looking top-notch. We really don't think much about statues getting dirty... because most of us don't ever see them getting cleaned.
Until now, that is! This person perfectly timed a photo for Honest Abe's ear cleaning. It's pretty hilarious that the swab they use to clean the iconic statue looks just like a giant Q-tip!
When The Brand Name And The Knockoff Share A Plate
In a marketing landscape where brands are constantly fighting to win over the consumers, it's kind of beautiful to see these two "quick" rice boxes finding a way to share a meal.
It just goes to show that cooperation, even with people we don't necessarily agree with a lot of the time, can lead to some beautiful outcomes. In this case, it happened to lead to one beautiful rice dish.
Do You Think She Owns Both Cars?
I'm just saying, after buying this dress and having this situation happen once as a happy accident, it would only make sense to buy a second matching car to keep the look up.
Another option would be buying multiple dresses in this same style, just all different colors. Then, maybe a couple more matching cars would show up out of nowhere and she'd have a dozen cars in different colors.
Maybe 33607 Is His Magical Lucky Number
Not only did this man have 33607 on his shirt, as his randomly assigned participant number, and a run time of 3:36:07, but 33607 is also the zip code for this childhood home. (In case you're wondering, the zip code is located in Tampa, Florida.)
Just one instance of the number showing up elsewhere while he was already wearing the t-shirt would have been weird. But this is just too much. What is the universe trying to tell him?
What Came First: The Chicken Or The Egg?
Making hard-boiled eggs often leads to at least one shell cracking and part of the eggs slipping out, but this person had half of the egg's yolk boil outside of the shell into the shape of a chicken.
Not only is this a very strange thing to happen as you're just trying to make your breakfast, or maybe it's for egg salad or something, it's also a little disturbing. Most of us don't want to think of the eggs we eat as being potential chickens, and this chicken-shaped yolk just rips that cover right off.
How Many Of The Same Car Can You Park On One Street?
It's one thing to have someone park the same car model right next to you, but these three cars are all the same color and model and somehow ended up together on this street. Was this planned? We kind of doubt it since the cars aren't exactly identical.
But it does beg the question: did the cars' owners get confused when they went out to retrieve their vehicles? Surely, at least one of them tried to get in the wrong car.
You Can Actually Have Butterflies In Your Stomach Now!
This woman was chopping up an eggplant while preparing her dinner only to discover that the seeds on the inside made a perfect little butterfly shape. It looks just like the kind of butterfly that a kid would draw, just made of seeds and not crayon.
I really hope she was cooking this for a date. But if she was making eggplant parmesan or something similar, the butterfly design would be covered up. Perhaps she set a couple slices aside so she could show her friends later.
Find Your International Clone Abroad!
Have you ever found that when you're traveling, you tend to see people who look familiar even though there's no way the people you're thinking of are actually in whichever city you're visiting?
Well, this woman was visiting the USA for the first time only to experience a severe glitch in the Matrix while standing in line at the Metropolitan Museum of Art,. Or maybe this is just a remake of The Parent Trap.
Wear Yourself With Pride
My favorite part about shopping for crew socks is looking at all the fun and irregular designs and patterns available, but I haven't been lucky enough to find my exact face on a pair. Complete with beard, mustache, and glasses, even!
You have to hope that he bought up the entire supply of these socks. After all, they tend to wear out over time and this is a pair you'd want to have forever.
The Matrix Is Glitching
Fashion is supposed to be a way to express your individuality through choices of clothing—key words: supposed to be. I don't even know where to buy neon sweats, let alone find someone else who'd be willing to wear the same ones.
We need to know what movie these people are renting. Are they getting the same title or completely different movies? It'd be really neat if they were both getting Twins or Big Business or something.
Art Imitates Life
This little boy opened up a new book that came in a set only to find that he actually was the protagonist of one—or, at the very least, almost identical to the character. We wonder if he got confused when he saw this, like "how did they know what I look like?"
Or maybe he didn't even think much of it. And just kept finding himself thinking how cool he thought the character is but just couldn't put his finger on why.
Hey, I Recognize Those Mountains!
After using this stock photo as his phone background for the past two years, this man accidentally stumbled across the landscape in real life while traveling through Santa Cristina, Italy.
I can't say I'd want to end up in the place pictured in my phone screensaver, though. Because at the moment it's a creepy Halloween scene, in a haunted forest. Maybe I should change it to something less scary... just in case.
They Go Together Pretty Well, Though
It's a classic pairing, like Batman and Robin, gin and tonic, or Bonnie and Clyde. This service location and store were just meant to be next to each other, even if it wasn't planned (pun intended).
This is probably one of the most-photographed spots in town because the combo of a "Girls' Night Out" spot and medical facility are just too crazy and funny to be believed without photographic evidence.
They Were Born Seconds Apart!
These fraternal twin cars are both the exact same model and had their license plates made right after each other, meaning they were probably purchased the same day. And by some miracle they ended up parked together.
We hope the drivers were able to connect and talk about this crazy coincidence. Because if they were two people who didn't already know each other, they'd probably find that they had a lot of other things in common.
Apparently, Deer Can Read Road Signs Now
Deer are some of the most lawless animals, as in they will sprint across a road at any given time and wreck a car. However, these sophisticated deer are on the road exactly at the "deer crossing" caution sign.
Either that, or the local transportation committee noticed that the deer tended to cross the road in this one particular spot, so they put the sign there. That's the most likely explanation but admittedly not as fun as thinking that the deer can now read road signs
Nailed It!
The meditation class leader from the one session I went to five years ago told us that we need to find a way to find ourselves in everyday life, but I don't think she meant matching a chocolate wrapper with my nail polish color.
But who am I to judge? Maybe this woman has rediscovered her true self after the coincidence of finding that her nail polish was an exact match to a Dove chocolate foil.
This Is A Very Considerate Bird
Birds in general are rude creatures who will poop on your car without a care in the world, but at least this one bird had the courtesy to poop in the best spot possible... where the decal on the car will be able to clean it up with their one-dimensional bottle of cleaner and rag.
Actually, the bird poo looks a little like it's cleaning solution that's come out of the bottle. Either way, it's hilarious.
Everybody Loves Stripes, I Guess
This guy probably thought his outfit was pretty fresh until he rolled up the a public bus stop only to realize that three other total strangers were wearing the exact same shirt.
We can't wait until Waldo shows up in his classic red-and-white striped shirt. Then, the Striped Shirt Club is probably going to pull up in a huge striped bus and take the all to Disneyland together to see the striped Cheshire Cat
They Got The Hair Right!
When doing the packaging design for this chocolate bar, I bet the company didn't realize that, when actually printed and packaged, the top edges would match Bart's hair on The Simpsons so well. It's a nearly-perfect match with Bart's "real" cartoon spikes.
Then again, if someone did actually plan this out when they were designing the packaging, they should probably get a huge raise and/or promotion. Because that's just genius.

It's always fun to catch your clothes matching other random patterned things out in public, and this woman found a Kleenex box that was rocking the same outfit as her.
Men who are really into fashion often discuss matching their pocket squares (handkerchiefs) to their neckties. This Kleenex scenario is just a modern version of that... this woman will be very stylish walking around with her matching Kleenex box. She can even use it as a handbag.
Some Things Are Too Perfect To Be Unplanned
Some things, though not explicitly stated as intentional, are just too perfectly executed in order to be a coincidence. There is no fathomable way the price for a Cheech and Chong movie just happened to be $4.20.
We'd need to see some of the prices on the other DVDs before we could determine how premeditated the $4.20 price actually is. How much is that copy of When Harry Met Sally going for, for example?
What Witchcraft Is This?
I don't know what sort of sorcery allowed these kids to get copies of the exact textbook they're posing for with themselves already on it for this photo, but I'm terrified of their power.
What if this group of seemingly random teens is able to project themselves onto any textbook they want to appear on? Like that was their special supernatural gift? Man, that would be such a wasted superpower.
So Who Owns The Other Cat?
What is this guy supposed to do now? Try and find the owner of the other cat? Even if he did find the second cat's home, how is he supposed to figure out which one is actually his cat?
And really, how can this person be sure that either of these cats are actually his? If there are two of them, there could surely be more out there. More matching cats just trying to drive this poor guy crazy.
Interior Decor On Par With Video Game Design
This person was just enjoying one of their favorite video games when they were stunned to see that the room in the game had the exact same rug as the one on their floor. Just what game was this, anyway?
Maybe it's "Amazing Apartment Adventures," where players get to go on a "magical" tour of average apartments throughout the world. You've heard of that game, right? No? You should give it a try.
A Romantic Reflection
These two people might be sitting alone to eat their respective meals, but the reflection on the glass at least makes it look like they are on a date together. If this happened in a movie, the people would both be single and when they are shown this picture of themselves in the reflection, they'd decide that they should go on a date.
One date turns to several and before you know it they're married and ignoring each other at dinner all over again.
The Timing On This Photo Was Perfect
Wow, talk about "Through the Looking Glass." This person was just trying to take a picture of their cat when they accidentally captured the television screen in the middle of a camera angle change, making the reflection in the mirror different from the current screen.
And the cat doesn't have a clue about anything that's going on. Which is fine, because we wouldn't want it to be confused. You just keep sleeping, kitty.
Who Allowed This To Happen?
At some point, someone involved in putting up these billboards had to know that putting these two beside each other was a horrible mistake. I would like to petition to move one of them.
Not that there's anything wrong with being a showgirl. Just that it'd be cool if little kids who saw this billboard didn't put two and two together and read the signs like they're one message telling them to aspire to work at Crossroad Showgirls when they're grown up.
You Never Know Where You'll Find A Familiar Face
This American tourist was visiting a small market in Istanbul, Turkey when he came across a vendor selling nuts that looked just like him. While they didn't speak the same language, they still got some good pictures.
A photo tells a thousand words anyway, right? There was no need for these twinsies to exchange words in order to show their friends that they found each other all the way on the other side of the world.
This Could Not Be More Perfect
Facebook's "Suggested Friends" feed is normally just a barrage of acquaintances and people from high school that you don't talk to anymore, but this person found the best coincidental pairing of photos he could hope for.
I sincerely hope that they reached out to both of these people just to see what happened. Because they look like they'd be a lot of fun together, at least from this crazy photo mashup.
The Shadows Were At Just The Right Angle
Yes, I would like to have a cup of "cofee." What definitely seemed like a cute sign to decorate the inside of a café turned into a funny misspelling with the placement of the overhead ceiling lights.
I actually don't understand how this even happened but it's not like I'm a physics whiz or something. Where did that extra "F" go to? Is it using the bathroom or did it just leave?
He Is All Powerful
This cat picked the perfect place and time to make a scream-like meow in order to look like an ethereal being with mystical and unparalleled powers... or maybe this cat really just is a supernatural wonder.
We wouldn't be taking any chances, just in case. Whatever that cat wants, I'll give it to her. More wet food? You got it! Belly rubs all day? OK, I'll call in sick. Just don't hurt me.
