The Office Cast: Where Are Dunder Mifflin’s Employees Now
Dunder Mifflin's baffling manager turned critically acclaimed actor will be back on the small screen. Steve Carrell will be starring in a drama about a TV morning show, and he's joining forces with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. It's huge news for TV fans and fans of The Office, who've missed Michael Scott's face every week.
To help you stop wondering what each cast member is up to, here's a guide to all their current comings and goings. Spoiler alert: Pam's off the market.
Toby (Paul Lieberstein)
After working as the series' showrunner from seasons five-eight, Lieberstein was brought in as showrunner to change things up on Fox's Ghosted. He also wrote and directed Song of Back and Neck, which made it into the Tribeca Film Festival.
The Connecticut native also worked on the final season of the drama The Newsroom.
Gabe (Zach Woods)
The actor-comedian has been popping up everywhere. After playing the role of Gabe Lewis, Woods appears in the historical, political thriller The Post. He's best known for playing Jared Dunn on the HBO series Silicon Valley.
He also recurs on Veep and the USA Network sitcom Playing House.
Oscar (Oscar Nunez)
One of Dunder Mifflin's accountants has been in a variety of shows and movies. Most recently, Nunez appeared in Baywatch and Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition. The Cuban-American has also appeared in It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
He portrayed State Farm Insurance Agent Cole Perez in a series of commercials.
Meredith (Kate Flannery)
Flannery has landed gigs on television shows and movies. She had a guest role on an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and appeared on American Housewife. In 2018, she played party-pooper Principal Saperstein on Hulu's teen comedy All Night.
She's been in a relationship with photographer Chris Haston for more than a decade.
Stanley (Leslie David Baker)
In November 2011, Baker released the song "2 Be Simple" with a music video. The office grump has picked up roles since then. He's been on Still The King, Life in Pieces, and Raven's Home.
The actor starred in the neo-noir puppet comedy The Happytime Murders with co-stars Melissa McCarthy and Elizabeth Banks.
Kevin (Brian Baumgartner)
Another one of Dunder Mifflin's accountants has found success on the small screen. The actor landed roles on Criminal Minds and Hot in Cleveland. In 2014, he married Celeste Ackelson in a backyard wedding, which was attended by many of his Office co-stars.
A year later, they welcomed daughter Brylee.
Ryan (B.J. Novak)
Novak worked with Paul Lieberstein on The Newsroom and had a role on The Mindy Project.
The Harvard alum published two books in 2014, and both made the New York Times bestsellers list — One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories and a children's book, The Book With No Pictures.
Erin (Ellie Kemper)
Starring in her own critically acclaimed Netflix sitcom has been something else. Kemper is the lead in The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She also does a ton of cartoon voices too, and she was on the actors who voiced the audiobook A Day In The Life Of Marlon Bundo.
In 2018, Kemper released her book My Squirrel Days.
Angela (Angela Kinsey)
Since wrapping her time as the head of Dunder Mifflin's accounting team, the actress can be seen on Miranda Sings' Netflix Original Series, Haters Back Off alongside her daughter from her first marriage. Kinsey wed Joshua Snyder in 2016.
They host a web baking series called Baking With Josh & Ang.
Darryl (Craig Robinson)
Robinson switched to the big screen, starring in This Is The End. Like many of his former co-stars, the actor grabbed a role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In 2015, he had his short-lived sitcom, Mr. Robinson.
In 2018, he'll collaborate with James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Danny McBride in Zeroville.
Creed (Creed Bratton)
The Grass Roots rocker continues to act after The Office wrapped up. Known for playing a fictionalized character of himself, Bratton appeared on Adventure Time, Grace and Frankie, and Band of Robbers.
In 2018, the musician-actor hit the road to tour his seventh studio album While the Young Punks Dance.
Andy (Ed Helms)
Helms transitioned onto the big screen. He landed a hilarious role in The Hangover film franchise. In 2015, the actor appeared in Vacation and Love the Coopers.
Most recently, he had a significant role in the acclaimed Kennedy film Chappaquiddick and appeared in the 2018 comedy Tag with Jon Hamm.
Kelly (Mindy Kaling)
The Office customer service rep transitioned into a successful television show. The actress launched her series, The Mindy Project, which wrapped up in 2017. In 2015, Kaling published her first book, Why Not Me. She's taking on roles in A Wrinkle in Time and Ocean's 8.
But, her most significant part is taking on motherhood.
Phyllis (Phyllis Smith)
Since playing the sassy role of Phyllis Vance, Smith has had a successful acting career. She voiced the character of Sadness in the critically acclaimed Inside Out. The St. Louis native currently stars on the Netflix series The OA.
Not too shabby for someone who was a former casting associate.
Dwight (Rainn Wilson)
The Seattle native continues to act and appears on CBS's Star Trek: Discovery. He also provided the voice of Gargamel in The Smurfs: The Lost Village in 2017. Interestingly enough, Wilson penned The Basson King, a biography about the actor's life and career in acting.
He's been happily married to Holiday Reinhorn since 1995.
Pam (Jenna Fischer)
The mom of two welcomed her second child a year after the show's finale with hubby Lee Kirk. Fischer appeared on You, Me and the Apocalypse and Drunk History.
In March 2018, she returned to TV opposite Oliver Hudson on the Ellen DeGeneres-produced ABC sitcom Splitting Up Together.
(Michael Scott (Steve Carrell)
The manager of Dunder Mifflin received a best actor Oscar nomination for his work on Foxcatcher. Carrell also starred in the Oscar-winning film The Big Short. The Massachusetts native earned two Golden Globe nods for his role in Battle of the Sexes.
He's been married to his wife Nancy since 1995.
Jim (John Krasinski)
The actor shed his guy-next-door image when he beefed up for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. John also works as an executive producer on the popular series Lip Sync Battle.
In 2018, he earned recognition for writing, directing, and starring in A Quiet Place alongside his wife, Emily Blunt.
Jane (Melora Hardin)
Hardin played the role of Isabelle Palmer's mother Nancy in An American Girls: Isabelle Dances Into The Spotlight. Most recently, the actress had small roles on Falling Skies and The Blacklist.
She's playing the central role of Jacqueline Carlye in The Bold Type, which debuted in 2017.
Roy (David Denman)
Denman picked up steam in his career after The Office. He co-starred alongside John Krasinski in 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The actor also had a role in the reboot film of The Power Rangers.
In 2018, he and his wife, Mereces Mason, welcomed their first child, Caius Kane.
