When You’re The Kid Of A Hollywood Star, Prom Looks A Little Different
Hair, makeup, and dressing up to their nines. Prom is a special time for high school teens, a night to be remembered and treasured. But while most of us look back on prom pictures and cringe at the amount of hairspray we used, some look as though professional stylists made them up.
We're talking about the children of some of Hollywood's biggest stars. From Jaden Smith to Lottie Moss, here's how Hollywood teens did their high school proms.
Ariana Biermann, Daughter Of Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Prom photo shoots definitely don't look like this for most teenagers. Instead of doing the traditional staircase shots with a bunch of friends, Ariana Biermann, daughter of the television personality and one of the original Housewives of Atlanta Kim Zolciak-Biermann, opted for a romantic photoshoot with her date.
It looks more like a magazine spread for a Sherri Hill evening gown collection, more so than prom photos! Apparently, Ariana didn't get the memo that you're supposed to look back on these photos and cringe!
Maya Thurman-Hawke, Daughter Of Uma Thurman And Ethan Hawke
Only one person can say they're the child of legendary Academy Award-nominated actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, and that's Maya Uma-Thurman. And by the looks of this unconventional prom picture, the young actress seems to know how unique she is.
Aside from the pose, Ms. Thurman-Hawke decided to go with a completely untraditional look for her high school prom. Then again, attending a school that doesn't grade work like Saint Ann's School, it's not overly surprising Maya would go with something a bit more creative than conventional.

As the daughter of Baby Phat designer Kimora Lee Simmons, prom will look different and yet kind of the same for Ming Lee Simmons. First off, she didn't go to the mall for her champagne-colored gown.
Instead, she had her uber-famous designer mom fashion the dress for her. Nothing like wearing a one of a kind Kimora Lee Simmons to prom! Of course, she and her date decided they were actual teenagers and did an obligatory "in front of an expensive car" photo.
Chloe Lukasiak, Daughter Of Christi Zook Lukasiak
Chloe Lukasiak and her mom, Christi Zook Lukasiak, starred in the reality show Dance Moms. And while Christi wasn't painted with the greatest light, disagreeing with practically everyone on the show, it looks as though she and her daughter were able to agree on something: prom.
Being used to the professional hair, makeup, and dramatic photoshoots that come with being a dancer, it looks as though Christi wasn't going to have anything less for her daughter on prom night.
Delilah Belle Hamlin, Daughter Of Lisa Rinna And Harry Hamlin
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin clearly wanted their daughter Delilah Belle to go all out for her prom. Or maybe it was her idea. Either way, this prom picture lacks the awkwardness of "normal teens."
Clad in a unique Bec & Bridge dress, Delilah even went the extra mile with this picture, putting a filter on it to accentuate her and her date's presence. Having magazine-ready photoshoots before prom must be a norm for some celebrity's kids.
Lola Consuelos, Daughter Of Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos
Seriously, we're not sure who wouldn't look star-struck while taking pictures with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos's daughter. The Days of Our Lives star's daughter, Lola, might be bringing a statue to prom, from the way this poor guy is standing!
Either way, Lola looked gorgeous in an emerald green gown. Her mother's stylists must have come in to help with the complete look because we don't remember having hair and makeup that well done in high school!
Sailor Brinkley Cook, Daughter Of Christie Brinkley
That big smile is either because Sailor Brinkley is super excited about going to her high school prom or because her mother, supermodel Christie Brinkley taught her how to really glow in front of the camera.
We're going with a little bit of each. Either way, it looks as though being the child of an A-list star doesn't mean Sailor is too good for this traditional back-to-front prom pose! Sailor even wrote on her Instagram, "this is crazy and cliché high school. I love it." At least she knows!

Apparently, being the daughter of a famous celebrity doesn't mean this high school girl is too good for the traditional backyard pic! She even got her date a boutonnière. Well, maybe it was Jerry who picked it out, having worn one or two to red carpet events.

As it's a prestigious private school, attending Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences prom was probably a bit different, no matter who you are. Wearing a classic-looking silk and lace gown, the Euphoria actress stood between her friends while someone captured their smiling faces during a traditional backyard photoshoot. It looks as though she wanted at least one traditional high school experience, corsage and all!

When you're the son of a famous mom and dad, with a ridiculously well-known grandfather, prom is bound to look different than the typical teenager's, right? Well, for Dylan Douglas, son of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, it actually looks surprisingly normal.
That being said, Dylan might have learned the suave hair brush back while still looking directly at the camera from his grandfather, the legendary Kirk Douglas. That move is literally straight out of the movies.

When you're the son of legendary model Cindy Crawford, your prom appearance is going to look a bit different than the rest of your classmates. For Presley Gerber, that means ditching the tie or bow tie, popping a few collar buttons open, and going for an all-black ensemble to compliment his date's white dress.
Needless to say, this then-16-year-old had a bit more fashion-forward prom than most. But, hey, it probably comes with the territory of being in a family full of famous models.

Jay and Silent Bob director Kevin Smith must have had a hard time letting his daughter Harley Quinn Smith out of the house on prom night. She just looks too pretty to send off with a teenage boy, even one as nice-looking as her date.

Interestingly, even with high-profile designers probably knocking on her door asking to dress her for prom, Lottie did something unexpected.
Instead of going with a designer gown, she went with this stunning $60 off-the-shoulder Missguided floor-length dress. Maybe celebrities are just normal people, after all!

Just because Omar Epps is a famous actor, known for his work in The Wood, Higher Learning, ER, and House, that doesn't mean he won't take time off to see his daughter Aiyanna off to prom.

But it doesn't look like Shahidi wanted to bring any attention to herself on her prom day, opting not to use one of her dad's nice cameras to capture herself in this dazzling green wrap dress.

See, now Angelina Jolie gets it -- just because she's the daughter of Academy Award-winning actor John Voight doesn't mean her prom pictures need to be glamorous enough to be in a magazine spread.
Nope, the gorgeous Academy Award-winning actress actually went through an awkward stage where she didn't wear makeup. Just tack on the chunky dress-up jewelry and school picture blue background, and it's safe to say this isn't how many modern-day children of celebrities do prom.
Bindi Irwin, Daughter Of Steve Irwin
The late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin would be so proud of his daughter Bindi on her prom night. She looked gorgeous in a classic black dress with lace sleeves, pulling her curled hair over one shoulder.
Honestly, this is a bit too normal for a family of zookeepers, though. So, let's rewind the clock and add in a few wild animals. We're talking koala bears, tortoises, and maybe a crocodile for good measure!

Either way, considering who Hailie's father is, this looks like a fairly normal occasion with the obligatory "I'm pinning the flower to my date" picture before the parents swoop in actually to do the pinning.

Some children of Hollywood stars go all out for their high school prom pictures. Then, there is Reginae Carter, the daughter of rap icon Lil Wayne and reality star Toya Johnson, who opted to do a sweet photo no matter how much she dazzled in a silver and gold dress and perfectly curled hair.
While she might look like the child of a megastar (because she is), Reginae took the time from her date and friends to pose with her normally-dressed mom on the "night of nights."
