During an interview, she said, "I went in the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous. It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible." The procedure negatively impacted her career.
She Beat Cancer!
In order to perform on Dancing with the Stars in 2010, Jennifer Grey had to get a physical to ensure she was physically fit enough to be on the show. While undergoing a series of exams, the doctor found a cancerous nodule on her thyroid.
According to Grey, it was removed before it could metastasize. As of 2021, she is cancer-free!
